I wanted a movie Ending where Dorthy is still wearing the Ruby Slippers proving it all happened (like Zazu's Petals in "It's a Wonderful Life"). Frank Morgan played 5 parts in the movie: Professor Marvel, the Emerald City Doorman, the Emerald City Carriage Driver, the Wizard's Doorman and the Wizard of OZ. Poor Margaret Hamiltion (Witch of the West) was badly burned in the scene in Muchkinkand where she vanishes in smoke and fire. The Green Makeup (copper based) was flammable and it and her costume caught on fire when flames went off too soon (and she wasn't clear yet). The snow in the Poppy Field was actually Asbestos (who knew of the dangers back then). The original Tin Man was played by Buddy Epsen (know for playing Uncle Jed on the Beverly Hillbillies and Barnaby Jones). He was allergic to the aluminum makeup and got very ill. He had to be replaced by Jack Haley.

This film truly stands the test of time. Judy Garland was a perfect Dorothy. Her singing is and was throughout her career iconic. The special effects used were way ahead of it's time! "The Wizard of Oz" remains a classic!

Not only did I see this in theaters on opening day but I liked TJB (2016) so much I saw it in theaters a second time.

Okay as someone who grew up watching these, I loved that it was probably the perfect ending for Woody without a doubt. But I have to say....I want that bloody Bunny and chicken! I was in tears laughing at the old woman and then that ending. And of course Keanu Reeves is always a win in my books.

I feel the first 4 seasons are best of all time.

Something to remember is that the Actress playing Dorothy is like 10 years older than Dorothy was supposed to be , so lots of her actions and what not can seem off because of that. But I'm more stating it because if you ever watch the 2nd movie , which was even more based on the books, you don't think it weird that Dorothy is suddenly a 12 year old.

Season 4 is an interesting season. Mainly since it’s after the movie’s production and release. And with Stephen Hillenburg’s resignation as showrunner and his largely less involved role in the show. Plus with some writers like Merriwether Williams leaving. I don’t dislike season 4, there’s still a lot of things I like about it and still hold up (Skill Crane, Have You Seen this Snail and Krusty Towers I love) but many fans notice the transition of the season over its run. I mainly notice it by Chimps Ahoy. I find it interesting how you still view the season similarly akin to the others (as it’s your first time watching this show), yet have the opinion of seasons 2/3 being the best. Which I also think.
